Board resolutions
In: Rotary Club of Manila. The Rotary Balita No. 600 to 623Summary: Among the important resolutions passed during the meeting of the Board of Directors last January 15th were: 1. Upon recommendation of the Philippine Safety Council, the Board was unanimous that Manila Rotary Club be one of the sponsors for the creation of the National Traffic Commission. Among the officers of the Philippine Safety Council who are Rotarians are: Ben Legarda, President; Lu Croft, V.P. & Treas.; Manoling Lim and Sergio Bayan, Board Members; Bruce Brus- solo, Technical Staff. 2. The Board unanimously decided to transfer the regular luncheon meeting of the club of March 3rd to March 4th, Friday, which is the first day of the District Conference. 3. The Board has instructed the Secretary to collect from the members of the club their voluntary contributions for the District Fund which, as decided in the District Assembly held in Bacolod last October, would be voluntary but it should not be less than P5.00.
