TY - SER TI - A suggestion to Charlie Norman N1 - The Rotary Balita no. 601 (August 5, 1948) N2 - Charlie Hollman is a lucky guy, we say, first, because since he has taken over the management of the Manila Hotel the menus, on Thursday nouns at least, have become more variable - "muy sabroso" if you please. Secondly, he is lucky because. unlike his predecessor, he has not yet joined the folds of Rotary. If Charlie were one of us, it is just possible someone might whisper a word to the fines committee about some of the inefficiencies of service at the recent luncheons. And the fine might be a big one! How about it, Charlie? We like the Manila Hotel and its fine atmosphere, we're proud of the room you have given us, we like your food. Might we suggest that each waiter be assigned a certain number of specific places and then be held responsible for serving all the courses to all the places, and doing it promptly? -Pepe Galvez "Inefficiencies", did you say? Now, really, Pepe. - Ed. ER -
