The Rotary Balita no. 602 (August 19, 1948)
To prevent absentees saving money by failure to attend meetings, and to increase our Charity fund, it is proposed to assess luncheon fees by the month. The Club would then pay the Manila Hotel for the number of luncheons eaten, and the surplus would accrue to the charity fund. This method would also save the inconvenience of paying weekly or signing chits. Details regarding meals for club guests and individual guests were not worked out.
