The Rotary Balita no. 603 (September 2, 1948)

This writer is lucky in not having much personal knowledge of the individual classifications of the members of our Club. If we did have, we might not take the chance of hurting the feelings of our friends, as we did in last issue's editorial. Or, as we may in making the following statement-Of the substantial number of Manila Rotarians who do no committee work, in fact, no club work, we will gamble a large number are of that group which no longer properly come within the classifications by which they became members. We need active members, not big names, in Rotary. So again we suggest that the Classification Committee and Board of Directors study this problem to the end that we have members truly representing their business or profession, and members who are interested in SERVICE.
