N2  - The miracle of harmony in the Board of Directors of R.I., of bringing men of eight different nationalities into agreement on serious and vital matters, and I was asked the question: "What does this teach you?" I replied that it showed me that these men were acting according to the ideals of Rotary, governed by a willingness to consider the other man's side of the question, that the spirit of justice prevailed.  The questioner agreed with my opinion, but he went further and stated. "It teaches me that if fourteen men of eight different nations can come to an agreement after a frank discussion of a problem, fifty men of fifty nations can do the same, and in the right environment fifty thousand can be brought into accord.  -ROBERT E.
