TY - BOOK TI - Contributions to Rotary foundation N1 - The Rotary Balita no. 791 (February 23, 1956) N2 - Late in 1952 Rotarian Harry L. Jones of Newton, New Jersey, U.S.A., made a contribution of $10,000 to The Rotary Foundation. In January of 1954 his wife, Charlotte, followed his example in making a gift of $5,000 to the Foundation indicating special appeal which the Foundation holds for a Rotarian's wife. That their belief in the Foundation remains strong is evidenced by a further gift of $5,000 made by Rotarian Harry Jones in December, 1955. The contributions of the Jones family totaling $20,000 are deeply appreciated and provide substantial assistance in furthering the work of The Rotary Foundation. There have been 1776 contributions for this Rotary year totaling $154,796. This brings the total funds contributed since inception of the Foundation to $4,306,896. Every contribution to The Rotary Foundation is an investment in the future ER -
