We find that two officers of the Lyceum of the Philippines, which celebrated its second anniversary recently, belong to Manila Rotary. They are Jorge "George" B. Vargas, a member of the board of trustees, and Senator Gil Puyat, dean of the college of commerce. Incidentally, Gil was one of the members of Congress who addressed a gathering of alumni of the U.P. recently. Another Rotarian-educator is receiving kudos on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of his school. He is Enrique "Lorry" Lolarga, popularly known as Eking, and president of the National Radio School and Institute of Technology. Two Manila Rotarians in the government service continue to use the big broom in sweeping out undesirables from the government service. They are Col. Jaime "Jimmy" Velasquez, acting commissioner of customs, and Dr. Paulino "Lino" Garcia, secretary of health ER -
