520 _a1. The last District Assembly held in Bacolod City on October 22 and 23, 1948, aside from being most enjoyable, was productive of fruitful results. The discussions proved to be a fertile source of Rotary education. The fellowship was unexcelled. Our Club was represented by Governor Ted, Secretary Lorry, Professor Carluen, our Assistant Sec.-Treasurer Mr. Dedal and myself. 2. Please be prepared to give your best to whatever committee you may be assigned in connection with the preparation for our District Conference which will be held early in March, 1949. The list of committees will he announced soon. 3. The various committees are again reminded to push thru, as soon as possible, their respective projects. Those committees that have not as yet outlined their program for the year better do so at once. Let us try to make this a banner year for the Rotary Club of Manila. 4. Our attendance must be improved. Members who go abroad will please appoint their substitute as provided for by Article 3, Section 11-a of our Constitution. The observance of this rule will certainly raise the percentage of our attendance.
