500 _aThe Rotary Balita no. 731 (October 8, 1953).
520 _aThe Secretary of the Rotary Club of Jesselton, North Borneo, has written the following communication regarding the transfer to Manila of one of its charter members who is a past president in such club. President Danding has remitted to us a copy of the letter which we reproduce in full and which reads as follows: Dear Rotary President, I have been asked by the Board of Directors, of the Rotary Club of Jesselton, and in particular by the President, Rtn. Dr. T. C. Pan, to inform you that Rtn. A. J. B. Dickson, Charter President of this Club, will be stationed on transfer shortly in the Chartered Bank, Manila. I am to ask that your Club will contact him upon his arrival and extend to Archie and Mrs. Dickson, Rotary friendship and hospitality. Archie has played a major part in the formation of our Club- the first in North Borneo, and was for some time previously a keen member of a Malayan Rotary Club. He is at present on leave in Scotland, and during his leave has attended and addressed many member Clubs on various subjects. I shall be pleased to be able to convey to members of this Club, that Archie has been welcome by your Club and members, and admitted into the Rotary circle of the Manila Rotary Club. Yours in Rotary, (Sgd.) W. A. SPRADBROW Hon. Secretary We shall certainly welcome to Manila Rotarian Archie and we are sure that our Manila Rotarians will extend to him and Mrs, Dickson the friendship and hospitality of our Club.
