520			_aRe-elected president of the Young Men's Christian Association is Dean Conrado Benitez. This will be his third successive term. Other Rotarians on the board of directors are: Senator Gil Puyat, Dr. Emilio "Emy" Javier, Sergio Bayan, Vicente "Vince" Bunuan, Dr. Gumersindo "Gumer" Garcia, Theo. "Ted" L. Hall, and Paul Parrette. New officers of the Philippine Institute of Architects were inducted into office by Fernando Ocampo at the PIA clubhouse last Sunday. Named chairman of the public relations committee of the Philippine Statistical Association is Pedro "Pete" Teodoro. Several Rotarians are on the executive committee of the Philippine Industry Week celebration sponsored by the Philippine Chamber of Industries. They are: Teofilo "Rex" Reyes, Primitivo "Tiving" Lovina, and Sergio Bayan. President Francisco "Dalup" Dalupan of the University of the East showed Spanish Foreign Minister and Mrs. Artajo around the UE premises recently. The minister also visited the FEU, and was greeted by the President. Teodoro "Teddy" Evangelista. Gil Puyat was elected president of the National Economic Protectionism Association (NEPA). Congrats to Donald "Dinny" O. Gunn, president and general manager of Heacock's, for the opening of a new department, the spare parts department, at the corner of 16th and Railroad Sts., Port Area. Adviser of the National Market Vendors Association of the Philippines is Enrique "Lorry" Lolarga.
