520			_aIntercity meetings held recently in Ibero America went far beyond the intercity idea to become inter-national gatherings. Last August Rotarians of Uruguay and Brazil met in Rivera, Uruguay, and, through the initiative of Rotarians of a community in each country, donated a luminous fountain to the city. In addition to the Rotarians who were present, representatives of both governments were in attendance. Then, in November, 466 persons from twelve countries in Ibero America came together at Havana, Cuba, for an intercity meeting.
