Summary: Arm-in-arm with the private sector, the government must purposively lead the charge towards realizing the country's economic development goals and financial growth. Carefully chosen pioneering projects, business pursuits, and socially-relevant commercial initiatives must be encouraged and supported by the government, with the latter actually investing in them, and assisting to ensure its sustainability. This will enable industry development and serve as an effective catalyst for inclusive growth. Since March 1919, this laudable policy and program has been spearheaded by a state- owned enterprise, the National Development Company.
