The only proper time to consider this subject is when the meeting is being planned, that is, when the planners are putting together on paper the Greetings from Visitors; Greetings by Returned Rotarians; Adieus of Departing Rotarians; Introduction of Visiting Dignitaries; Introduction of Head Table Sitters; Essential Announcements; Non-Essential Announcements; Musical Numbers; and even the Speech of the Day. That is the time, before the meeting ever begins, when the decision is made as to how long the meeting is going to last.
