Bookshelf on Wheels-The Rotary Club of Elizabeth, New Jersey, U.S.A., has a bookshelf on wheels containing a complete file of Rotary pamphlets and mimeographed papers which is rolled in at each meeting to encourage club members to read the Rotary literature. Yellow Sticks-The Rotary Club of Goodmayes, England, has evolved something new and useful in community service-yellow sticks have been distributed to 1,000 local old age pensioners. Carrying the yellow stick will help warn motorists that the bearers require special consideration in view of their reduced powers of acceleration. Saarbrucken-Metz Rotary Meeting-Several members of the Rotary Club of Saarbrucken, The Saar, recently attended a meeting of the Rotary Club of Metz, France, where they were cordially welcomed. On the occasion of his last visit to Saarbrucken, the president of the Metz Club had addressed the Saarbrucken Club in German. The president of the Saarbrucken Club returned the compliment by speaking to the Metz Rotarians in French. It is anticipated that visits between the two clubs will continue and in crease, thus helping in the promotion of goodwill and understanding.
