The Rotary Balita no. 791 (February 23, 1956)

There is evidence that many clubs and districts are giving study to proposed legislation which will come before the 1956 (Philadelphia) convention for consideration. Others will undoubtedly be making such a study as time for the convention approaches. In May 1955 there was mailed to every Rotary club a copy of the proposed enactments and the proposed resolutions which had been received up to that time. The board of directors of R.I. has authorized a supplement to the proposed legislation booklet which will contain proposed resolutions received since publication of the booklet and also information as to the intention of proposers of legislation to offer amendments to such legislation when it is considered by the council on legislation or by the convention. This supplement is in preparation and is scheduled for mailing late in February.
