As the calendar turns once more to May 1, the Nation solemnly observes Labor Day, a hallowed date that transcends mere commemoration and strikes at the very soul of what it means to build a country. It is a day when we set aside our daily pursuits to pay tribute to the Filipino workers, whose tireless hands and steadfast heart have, for generations, fueled our national aspirations.
