The Rotary Balita no. 752 (August 26, 1954)
Manila Rotarian Tim Certeza has offered to do- nate a bronze plaque to any member of the Rotary Club of Dipolog who will attain a 100% attendance during the year. The fine gesture of the Manila Rotarian has been accepted by the Club in a letter sent to Tim Certeza by President Malcolm which reads as follows: August 5, 1954 My dear Tim: Last Saturday, July 31st, the Rotary Club of Dipolog unanimously approved the Resolution accepting your Gift of a bronze plaque to any mem- ber who obtains 100% attendance for this year. Copy of the same will be furnished to you later. We are indeed grateful for your generosity to bolster our morale. I'm sending you a picture of that "surprise" that put you on the spot when you inducted Judge W. M. Ortega, the new district judge as Honorary Member of the Rotary Club of Dipolog. We hope in the future we may have the opportunity to reciprocate your gesture of good-will to you and the Rotary Club of Manila. Fraternally, (Sgd.) MALCOLM G. SARMIENTO
