520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Another Rotarian celibate finally got himself entangled in the web of matrimony when Sebastian Ugarte upped and married Miss Julie Ghezzi of Manila in San Sebastian, Spain, last June, a month dreaded by most bachelors. This puts the number of Rotarian misogynists to a mere handful, namely: Gary Yupangco, Hans Menzi, Aleco Adamson, Kikoy Genato, Dinny Gunn, Dave Gunnell, and Bert Palmertz. Well known for their mulish indifference to the good points of marriage, these remaining few altar-evaders have expressed regret that Sebastian has broken what used to be a happy, unmarried gang of the club. Meanwhile, Sebastian and his bride are honeymooning in Europe and the United States. He has probably discovered by now the good things he had been missing during those many long years of bachelorhood. Congratulations, Sebastian! May you live longer as a married man! |
