| Summary, etc. | Philippine Rotary Clubs which comprise the 48th Rotary district of Rotary International open their tenth annual conventions today in Manila with Manila Rotary as club. Manila Rotarians will be headed by President "Hans" Menzi while Governor "Ben" Legarda of the 48th district will preside over the convention. As usual the annual convention will be an opportunity for all Rotary clubs in the Philippines to get together not only for tighter relations and acquaintances but also to coordinate common efforts and cooperate in making the 48th a bigger and better unit of Rotary International. As host club, Manila Rotary is expected to dish out the traditional hospitality which is the spirit of Rotary. In the past there have been complaints about Manila Rotarians falling short of expectations. Let that not be said again this year but that, on have outdone ourselves. |
