520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | by WILLIAM SHUTTIC High-school student, Warren, Ohio In Rotary there are truth, service, loyalty, youth, and age mixed together, and respect for fellowmen. During my attendance at the Rotary Club I have seen and experienced all these qualities... In this group, work is not a drudgery but a pleasure, a pleasure of seeing others become happy and joyful, to be lifted in mind and spirit. Why are there not more of this kind of people in the world? Why can't we all be Rotarians? This doesn't necessarily mean joining their Club, but doing as they do, helping others, making some boy or girl happy, showing that they are not forgotten. -(From winner's essay in contest sponsored by the Rotary Club of Warren, Ohio) |
