Announcement:

The joint meeting of Rotarians and Rotary Anns will be held on Oct. 11 at the Riviera.

The Benefit show of which Manchi is the chair-man, will be held after the elections. It will be the Premiere of an English Film by Arthur Rank—"Prelude to Fame."

A "Shock apparatus" worth P1,000.00 was donated to the Psychopathic Hospital by Rita Legarda, Inc. and Mr. Litton. It will serve to cure at least a thousand inmates.

Kitchen Utensils were donated by our club to the Bureau of Plant Industry. It was badly needed in the Department of Culinary Arts.

Adopted Rotary Ann, Janet Walker, is as busy as a bee distributing Burpees Seeds to encourage people to participate in the City's beautification Drive.

Mrs. Pura Villanueva Kalaw donated two swings for the children's playground at Plaza Imperial.

One Board of Directors Meeting... Something important must be afoot when our Board meets.

After our successful Barrio Fiesta . . what comes next? Will it be a "Luwa" Hawaiian Fiesta where we'll see some Anns dancing the "hula" following the hypnotic charm of Hawaiian music, or, will it be a typical American Holiday... with a lavish spread of hot dogs, sandwiches, salads. an exhibition of the rugged boogie-woogie and the popular Square Dance?

Whatever they decide we all share hopes it will be a success.
