Summary: On Thursday, 24 August 2023, from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at the MANILA POLO CLUB, we will have as Guest Speaker MR. ROMEL CANETE, a Filipino Developer involved in the upper echelon of a $25 Billion Hudson Yards project, New York's largest public-private venture and the city's biggest development since Rockefeller Center in the 1930s. He joined Newmark Group in 1989 and currently leads the firm's financial services group as its vice chairman. Mr. Cañete successfully launched Real Estate Index Linked Securities (REILS) in late 2017, an innovative structured finance product that provides tax-efficient cross-border investments in U.S. real estate. He was awarded the prestigious NY real estate industry's "MOST INGENIOUS DEAL OF THE YEAR" award and he is also a member of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
