Issue No.4004
In business and commercial transactions, there unavoidably arises conflicts, disputes, and at times simple misunderstanding on the respective rights, roles, and responsibilities of contracting parties. While there is an established court system where an aggrieved individual may institute an action, litigation is oftentimes an unsuitable solution for parties seeking a venue to speedily resolve their issues. Thankfully, there are alternative mechanisms for resolving disputes. These alternative modes must be encouraged as they afford conflicting parties and entities a formal avenue and well-defined processes to expeditiously settle their differences.
