The District Awards Committee invited terra cotta sculptor Dr. Ton Raymundo to create and execute an original design for Rotary Year 1995-96 Awardees. The artist, inspired by Rotary International's programs on Family values, Polioplus, and this year's theme - "Act with Integrity, Serve with Love, Work for Peace", sculpted this work of art, depicting the family with a doctor administering Polio vaccine to a baby.
