The Rotary Balita No. 613 to 623Summary: On this day we had Chief of the Motor Vehicles Office, Bureau of Public Works, Primo Villar, for our guest speaker. His subject covered every conceivable phase of Motor Vehicle registration, touching on corollary topics such as licenses and the enforcement of the Motor Vehicle Law. The speech contained a liberal sprinkling of statistics leading back to as early as 1912, when the first automobile was registered in the Philippines. Salient facts that came out in process of his discourse is the existence of 30,000 vehicles today as contrasted to the 13,000 of pre-war 1941. Mr. Villar suggested the creation of bus terminal to solve the pathetic traffic suggestion of Manila. See you, Mr. Tenny... Professor Carluen (Yes, our very own) was officially appointed pianist of the Manila Rotary Club. Take it away, M. O. V., take it away.
