Manila Rotarians applauded for act of sportsmanship

The Rotary Balita No. 675 to 698Summary: Thirty-eight members of our Club who were present at the District Assembly Fellowship Luncheon on Saturday August 18th, in an act of spontaneous sportsmanship and fellowship started by Ted Hall, Past Governor, by voluntarily contributing P20.00 to the District Governor's Fund, followed immediately by all past governors in the same amount and by presidents and secretaries and members of provincial Rotary Clubs attend- ing the District Assembly, rose to the occasion and, upon the initiative of President Vince Bunuan, contributed P20.00 each, or a total of P760.00, to the Governor's Fund. When President Vince turned over the money to the Governor, this splendid act of Manila Rotarians who were present at the Luncheon was enthusiastically applauded by visiting Rotarians as evidence of their readiness to join with Rotarians all over the Philippines in acts of spontaneous fellowship, friendship and camaraderie.
