World's most luxurious liner displays Manila Rotarian banner

Description: page 16 In: Rotary Club of Manila. The Rotary Balita No. 624 to 649Summary: The International Committee has just received a pleasant letter from Rotarian "Bill" E. Miller, of Berwick, Pennsylvania, in which he tells us that on a recent trip he made from England to United States as a passenger on the world famous luxurious liner "QUEEN MARY" an enthusiastic Rotary Meeting was held. Banners of Rotary Clubs for many places throughout the world were displayed on the tables. The event was a heart warming success in fellowship and international understanding. It brought forth an immediate resolve by Berwick Rotary Club to emphasize the International Rotary Service of which their letter is a tangible action. It is our intention to send the Berwick Club one of our Manila Rotary small banners. This is just another expression of the bond that Rotarians around the world recognize toward each other.
