Description: page 3-12 In: Rotary Club of Manila. The Rotary Balita No. 749 to 774Summary: The meeting of June 24th was the last presided by outgoing President Danding Romualdez. It was one of the best meetings of the year in which the Rotarians by themselves gave way to their sentiments of friendship and lastly displayed their unanimous interest for the Club and principles of Rotary. It was the day when President Danding turned over the gavel to incoming President Gene Puyat and could witness the enthusiasm of the Club to his farewell words as President. It was the day also when at the first remarks of Gene Puyat after assuming the presidency, it could be seen the same enthusiasm in the members offering their unanimous support to the new Board. Outstanding Rotarian of the year proclaimed President Danding announced to the Club his selection with the unanimous approval of the Board. of Directors of the outstanding Rotarian of the year for the Manila Club. No better words could be used than those in the citation read by President. Danding proclaiming our able outgoing Secretary Yan Yanzon as the outstanding Rotarian.The citation reads: "With the advice and unanimous approval of the Board of Directors and following time-honored practice in our Club, it is now my pleasant duty. to announce the recipient of the award of the most outstanding Rotarian of the Year. This year's selection is outstanding in many ways.
