Paris, France June 25, 1952 Pres. Hans Menzi Rotary Club of Manila Manila Hotel Manila, Philippines My dear Pres. Hans: You have probably been informed by Pres. Vince that I have been appointed by Pres. Bru, a mem- ber of the R. 1. Planning Comm. for a term of 2 years. On July 5th I am going to fly to Chicago from London to attend the meetings of said committee which will last from July 7 to the 11th. Inasmuch as said committee is in charge of all the program of R. I. and will cooperate with the R. I. Board in the administration of all the Clubs, the said committee is open for any suggestions coming from clubs concerning the four avenues of service. If you and the members of the board have any suggestions to make concerning any matters dealing with the 4 avenues of service, kindly send them to me at Chicago so that we may study them and make the necessary recommendations. Inasmuch as the July meetings will be the only ones held this year, it is therefore important that your gestions or recommendations be received on or b fore the dates of said meetings. I am making up my attendance at the different clubs in the cities where I am going and I am 100%. As President, I know that you are going to he an enjoyable year and am sure that with your experience, you will have a successful year.
