Rotarians should feel proud of our or "Vince" Bunuan, Past President of the Manila Rotary Club, who has been vindicated with his reinstatement by President Quirino to the position of Sugar Quota Administrator. Caught in the crossfire of a controversy over the issue of exporting sugar Japan before the Philippine quota in the to United States is filled, "Vince" was sus pended from office as a result of certain developments related thereto. "Vince" fought his case and maintained that his official actuations were strictly in accordance with his conscience. It is a fact that his integrity was never questioned and that the order of reinstatement has sustain- ed that fact. His suspension, it now ap pears, was due to a difference of point of view with the President's official position then. That sugar export to Japan has been totally stopped further supports "Vince" in his own stand on the controversy. Congratulations, "Vince."
