To be so highly honored makes me more conscious of my duties and responsibilities as a citizen, who, by his honest efforts to serve, has merited your recognition. The eloquence of the citation stirs in me a stur of humble pride, especially so because I have new anticipated, nor in performing my tasks hare i striven, to win great honors and recognition. The Manila Rotary Club has been most gracias and generous for having chosen me to be the recipient of its award for the Rotary year 1951. 1952 under your presidency.
