The latest honor garnered by Dr. Dalupan was as lone Philippine delegate to the seventh plenary assembly held in Geneva by the World Federation of United Nations Associations. Another arrival, for whom here is another "Bienvenida", is Paul Parrette, vice-president and general manager of the Philippine Manufacturing Company. Dr. Mariano "Ike" Icasiano, city health officer, came up with another good idea last week. He has started a class for volunteer health workers at the Felina Lanuza health center on Alvarez, Sta. Cruz. Named general chairman of the 24th annual national dental convention, to be held in Manila from December 3 to 7, is our own Dr. Bienvenido "Toti" Eraña. Jorge "George" B. Vargas, who recently arrived from Helsinki World Olympics, campaign-fund-raiser par excellence, was named general chairman of the Community Chest Fund Campaign, whose president is our own Senator Gil Puyat. The coconut industry is due for some boost. Secretary Cornelio "Balmy" Balmaceda named a four-man committee to survey the industry and study means of improving the drying of copra. Guest at a welcome party by the la union in his company was International Harvester's Paul "Woody" Wood, who a rived recently. Yao Shiong Shio, vice-president of the Filipino-Chinese Association, addressed the Galapan Rotary Club and presented a fin point plan to combat Communism. He plead ed for more Fil-Chinese cooperation. Charles "CX" H.
