Description: page 34-35 In: Rotary Club of Manila. The Rotary Balita No. 699 to 723Summary: Since reporting the international camp for young people in Sweden, a description of another youth camp, arranged by the Rotary clubs of Ostfold County, Norway, has been received. The camp program included visits to near- by industries and scenic places, participation in the festival of St. Olave's Day, in Sarpsborg, and sightseeing in Oslo, with visits to the Folk Museum, the Viking Ships, the Kon-Tiki raft, and last, a party for the camp members and Rotarians at Elingaard. "I feel certain," said District Governor Elias Sandvig, in welcoming the campers, "that when young people meet in an in- formal way they will learn to understand each others' problems. Let us wipe out the word 'foreigner' in the dictionaries!"
