Description: page 27-28 In: Rotary Club of Manila. The Rotary Balita No. 675 to 698Summary: Prizes for Outstanding Art and Music Students. The Rotary Club of Antwerp, Belgium, offered prizes of Frs. 6,000 to both the Royal Academies of Fine Arts and of Music in Antwerp to be awarded to the most outstanding students. In November two prizes of Frs. 2,000 and two of Frs. 1,000 were distributed at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts and the Rotary club was prominently represented at the ceremony. Only part of the money offered for music was distributed, there being only one student at the academy whom the committee considered worthy of receiving the prize. Work for Youth in South Africa-The native welfare committee of the Rotary Club of Durban, South Africa, is helping to develop a health camp for African youths and a rest camp for African nurses and other deserving workers. Title has been secured to the land for the establishment of the camp and plans for the camp are progressing.
