In Totti's few remarks, he said, "The life of any club depends upon a closely knit membership, and what knits it into a moving spirit in the accomplishments of its purpose is the fellowship that culminates into lasting friendships." He reviewed the year's work of his committee and thanked the members for their cooperation. He read letters he received from President Vince Bunuan and President-elect Hans Menzi, then chairman of the International Service Committee.
