By: Description: page 16, 34-35 In: Rotary Club of Manila. The Rotary Balita No. 724 to 748Summary: We want to tell Col. Amado N. "Amading" Bautista, managing director of the Price Stabilization Corporation (PRISCO), that we're behind him in his campaign to weed that office of misfits and dishonest employees. The other day he addressed the Y's Men's Club and exposed unfair practices of unprincipled traders. If he could bring these rattlesnakes to bar of justice he could earn the eternal gratitude of the public. *** On the 33rd anniversary of the Philippines Herald, our congratulations go to Modesto "Fary” Farolan, editor-and-publisher-on-leave, and Conrado Benitez, its first editor. *** Teofilo D. "Rex" Reyes, vice-president of the Philippine Chamber of Industries, entertained for the chamber members at his home recently. *** Guest speaker at the gala luncheon of the Tamaraw Toastmaster International Club last August 6 was FEU President Teodoro "Teddy" Evangelista. And congrats to him for FEU's unbeaten (so far) performance in the UAAP basketball league *** Joe Orosa, acting president of the Escolta Walking Corporation, donned his barong Tagalog one night last week to receive the guests at the EWC dinner-dance for Mr. and Mrs. Virgilio Hilario (nee. Armi Kuusela). *** Pablo "Pablito" Lorenzo, secretary of public … and communications, predicted that the lligan project will be the nucleus of an industrial … in Mindanao. *** The Tarlac Rotarians were guests of the Rotary Club of Manila two weeks ago. A good time was had by all. Let's have more out of town Rotarians to visit us.
