No sooner than Dr. Juan "Johnny" Orendain had returned from that Swiss city, after acting as technical assistant to the Philippine delegation there, than Doc Ayesa left for the same place, representing the Philippine Obstetrical Society in some obstetrical convention. A round-the-year program of special convocations by the Philippine Women's University college of business administration has been announced by Dean Conrado Benitez. First of the special convocation was held on Youth Day, with Carlos "Charlie" Palanca Jr. as the speaker. Two other Rotarians were on the program: Ralph Hawkins and R. R. de la Cruz. Sergio Bayan is chairman of the statistics and research committee of the Home Industries Association of the Philippines. Five committees were named, and they will spearhead the program of activities of the association. A number of Rotarians are on the Philippine panel of negotiators which will attempt, with British negotiators, to formulate new air agreements between the Philippines and Great Britain. They are: Gregorio Zara of the Civil Aeronautics Board and Dan Me. Gomez of the Philippine Air Lines. Through Bophat Isardas, Das Isardas, Rup Nawalrai, and Rashid Baig, a belated handshake to the officers and men of the flagship of the Indian Navy, the INS Delhi. Yesterday, Doctors Rotarians Pepe Fores and Oscar Jacinto performed a minor operation on Rotarian Jimmy Velasquez.
