The Rotary Balita no. 719 (April 23, 1953)

WHEREAS, The Manila Rotary Club, an organization of civic-spirited men of the community, realizing the importance of fellowship among students of various nationalities; WHEREAS, The Manila Rotary Club extended all the necessary help and guidance in promoting such a wholesome fellowship; WHEREAS, We the members of the 1st Interna tional Fellowship Camp fully enjoyed our stay together in Camp through the kindness and understanding of the officers and members of the Manila Rotary Club; and WHEREAS, We the members of the said fellow. ship camp despite the apparent differences in race, color and creed were able to foster among ourselves brotherhood and understanding as a result of the fellowship; NOW THEREFORE, in recognition thereof, We the members of the 1st International Fellowship Camp at Camp Gre-Zar, resolved, as it is hereby resolved, that an expression of appreciation and gratitude with our signatures attached, be extended to the officers and members of the Manila Rotary Club and the members of the Camp Staff composed of Scout Executives and field men of the Boy Scouts of the Philip- pines; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of this resolution be furnished the President, the Secretary and the Chairman of the Youth Work Committee of the Manila Rotary Club.
