The Rotary Balita no. 729 (September 10, 1953).

On September 10th the Rotarians from Batangas will visit our Club officially. On September 17th, our visit to San Fernando will be returned by the Pampango Rotarians. Manila Day at San Fernando, Pampanga, was held on September 2nd. Our genial Balmy Balmaceda was the guest speaker who addressed the San Fernando Club in behalf of the Manila Club. Twenty-one Manila Rotarians attended this meeting These were: President Danding, Secretary Yan Yanzon and Rotarians Paquing Benitez, Fernando Ocampo, Art Tanco, Balmy Balmaceda, David Syeip, Emy Javier, Pepe Tiosejo, Tony Anton, KC Wu, Bert Parsons, Vince Bunuan, Gaudy Antonino, Eddie Schwesinger, Ralph Rebullida, Jimmy Velasquez, Totti Eraña, Doc Campos and Long Ortigas. After the meeting at San Fernando popular Rotarian Tinong David and his Ann Pinang entertained lavishly all those who attended the meeting including the twenty-one Manila Rotarians. It was a delightful affair held at Tinong's house in San Fernando as well attended as the Rotary meeting itself.
