R. de la Cruz has been named vice-chairman of the board and assistant general manager of PHILPROM. *** Guest speaker of the Manila chapter of the Silliman University Alumni Association on the occasion of the university's 52nd anniversary, was FEU's president, Teodoro "Teddy" Evangelista. Another university president, UE's Francisco "Dalup" Dalupan, deplored the language situation before the Malolos Rotarians last Saturday. *** In a letter to Mayor Arsenio Lacson, Benito "Ben" Legarda, president of the Philippine Motor Association, urged strict enforcement of the ordinance requiring calesas to have proper lights at night.
