With all sincerity and frankness, we are leaning our hearts to all of you and make use of them, for we believe that it is only in this manner that fellowship is rightly achieved. Permit me in this occasion also to express my sincere commendation to the president and members of the Manila Rotary Club for having elaborated the first phase of Rotary objective - Fellowship - by visiting all clubs of the District, thus promoting cordial relations and mutual confident among Rotarians. Last but not least, I am thanking you, Manila Rotarians, for having honored one of our members in the person of Tinong David. You placed him with the exalted position that few men can, acquire. In your Balita, the well-known organ of your Club, Tinong David occupied the front page on its current issue, August 27, 1953. So we thank you, I repeat, for your benevolence and sincere appreciation to this man. I reiterate my thanks and gratitude to you and I hope again that you feel cozy and happy.
