The Rotary Balita no. 661 (December 21, 1950).

To All Members Of Manila Rotary Club: You are cordially invited to attend the special Rotary program which has been arranged for the presentation of gifts to the Manila Mail Carriers, Telegraph Messengers, and Mail Truck Drivers. The program will be held on Saturday, December 23, at 3 p.m. at the Bureau of post. Present on the rostrum will be our good President, BEN LEGARDA, Mayor de la Fuente, and the Director of the Bureau of Posts, Mr. Juan Ruiz. There will be some entertainment numbers and a short speech by one of the Mail Carriers. The Committee has been successful in securing valuable gifts in kind and substantial money donations from the members for the purchase of food and clothing, so that the gifts which will be presented will be of real value. The Christmas season will undoubtedly be a great deal happier for these families because of Rotary's generosity. The Committee wishes again to express its appreciation of the fine response of the membership to its call for this worthy cause.
