By: Description: page 29 In: Rotary Club of Manila. The Rotary Balita No. 724 to 748Summary: Lest we forget, let us be reminded that a good and true Rotarian: (a) Studies the Constitution and by-laws of his Club and familiarizes himself with the Manual of Procedure and other rules and regulations of Rotary. All games, even life itself, are governed by certain definite rules, and we should play the Rotary game according to rules; (b) Gives of his time, money, and energy to help implement the object of Rotary as it finds expression under the Four Avenues of Rotary Service, Rotarians are supposed to be reasonably generous and not unreasonably stingy; (c) Exerts his utmost to promote good will, happy fellowship and harmony among his fellowmen. A Rotarian who is a discordant note in the harmonious symphony of our Rotary relations is an unworthy member of our great organization; (d) Practises personally Rotary's motto, "Service Above Self, He Profits Most Who Serves Best". He does not depend on his Club alone to render service. He is fully aware that Rotarians are expected to form better friendships, improve ethical standards, build better communities, and work for the establishment of a better and more peaceful world.
