The Rotary Balita No. 724 to 748Summary: It is my special privilege, in behalf of the Rotary Club of Manila, to welcome to the Philippines, President Joaquin Serratosa Cibils of Rotary International and his distinguished Ann, Doña Sofía de Serratosa. This official visit of President Joaquin to our District No. 48 will serve to strengthen further the bonds of goodwill, understanding and friendship which bind Rotarians the world over. We have every assurance that President Joaquin will find in the Rotary Clubs in the Philippines positive evidence of the fulfillment of the ideals and objectives of Rotary International. He will find it heart-warming to note the continuing interest of Rotarians in the Philippines in making strongly evident the Rotary influence for good in the fields of community betterment, youth work, the improvement of business and professional relations, the promotion of goodwill and fellowship and the advancement of international understanding and peace.
