Z." is president of the American Stockyards Association, with headquarters in Cleveland, and chairman of the board of the Cleveland Union Stockyards Company. He was born in Whitesboro, Texas, U.S.A.; attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee, U.S.A.; and was graduated from the College of Law of Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio, U.S.A. In addition to his full business schedule and longstanding activity in Rotary, President A. Z. is trustee of Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. U.S.A.; trustee of the Cleveland Automobile Club; and a member of the Greater Cleveland Advisory Board of the Salvation Army. A. Z. has outlined five aims for 1955-56 to meet the needs of the organization as it goes into its second half century of service, looking toward the "Development of Our Resources."
