We wonder
Description: page 25 In: Rotary Club of Manila. The Rotary Balita No. 724 to 748Summary: We often wonder if the Club members ever stop and think of the real good that comes from the weekly luncheon meeting. Right in the middle of the day's fight for existence we drop our business cares and assemble around a table with a bunch of the same kind of fellows as we are; we mingle our voices in some snappy singing; we listen to some beautiful music, and we hear a pleasing talk on some interesting subject; and it has all transpired in a short hour, but we go back to our jobs so refreshed in mind and soul that we forget the trials of the morning and are able to face the remainder of the day's work with a clearer head. and a stronger will because of that little meeting at Rotary. It should never be a burden to make a 100 percent attendance score at Rotary. The gain is all ours, and far outweighs the effort to attend.Item type | Current library | Call number | Status | Barcode | |
