President Frank Flores' address on 4th birthday
Description: page 11 In: Rotary Club of Manila. The Rotary Balita No. 724 to 748Summary: Fellow Rotarians, Rotary Anns and Guests: Today we are celebrating the 4th candle lighted hope and life of our club. We, the San Fernando Rotarians and Anns extend our warmest welcome to you all in this hour of bliss and contentment. Celebrating any one anniversary like birthdays, weddings, and nations is perhaps the unique happiest moments of the celebrants with thankfulness for the year stride completed; not only that we are thankful but we accounted what had been accomplished and what more to do ahead. So my friends that is Rotary-the wheel that you see in every corner is the sign of action, service that is pure, fair, and of truth. Scrutinizing further this wheel, you will notice equilibrium, steadiness, and smoothness in action, shining as it goes far without envy and hypocrisy. We are all submerged, my friends, to the real avenues of service-service to fellowmen, to country, and to the Almighty. If only nations are behind the wheel of service, the wheel of fellowship, and of the wheel of world understanding I and you, my friends, cannot see any reason why we can't attain complete and real peace. So today in this hour of moral strength and mental awareness we are renewing our pledge ever conscious and careful of our step toward the shore of service that we may be of usefulness to you, to the community, and to the world.Item type | Current library | Call number | Status | Barcode | |
