Smith, Jr., of the Rotary Club of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania pis, U.S.A., and E. W. Palmer of the Rotary Club of Kingsport, Tennessee, U.S.A., who passed away recently. "Tony" Smith who served as a director of R.I. in 1923-24 died on 14 November, 1953. Governor John E. Crawford of District 260 represented Rotary International at the funeral services. "E.W." Palmer who served as a director of R.I. in 1939-40 died suddenly while on a business trip. At his funeral in Kingsport on 21 November, Rotary International was represented by Past Director Robert F.
