Inmates of the Culion Leper Colony were the recipients of last year's annual Christmas Project of the Rotary Club of Manila for the needy. In a simple ceremony attended by members of the Board of Directors of the Club and key officials of the Department of Health, President Danding Romualdez presented to Secretary of Health Paulino Garcia the Club's Christmas donation to Culion lepers, consisting of 2,000 pairs of specially made rubber shoes (Alpargatas) and 2 Hallicrafter short-wave radio sets totally valued at P5,000.00.
