An urgent need
In: Rotary Club of Manila. The Rotary Balita No. 775 to 799Summary: From Asia, from Europe, from Rotary clubs in many places in North America and from all parts of the Rotary world evidences of genuine sympathy are pouring out to millions of persons in the area of disastrous wind and flood damage in northeastern U. S. A. Even from parts of the world where monetary exchange controls are stringent, contributions of money have been sent by Rotary clubs to relieve suffering and to help toward reconstruction. Some contributions have been sent direct to Rotary clubs and to district governors in the affected area. These are greatly appreciated. It is suggested, however, that unless Rotary clubs have an already established contact with Rotary clubs and Rotarians in the disaster area, contributions can be most readily and effectively made through regular established relief agenciesItem type | Current library | Call number | Status | Barcode | |
